DEEJAY 007 rocks from turntable to turntable and embeds his mantra “I LOVE MY JOB” as he ensures the beats and lyrics that fill the air are the sounds of choice. He accomplishes this by tapping into a crowd of party-goers ready for the night of their lives; from favorite song requests to sounds that complete any event.
“I’ve always taken every job seriously. I stay focused for crowds of 5 or 5,000; quality music and entertainment is my service. I LOVE my job!” said DEEJAY 007 during a recent interview.
DEEJAY 007 was inspired by local emcees including DJ Jay Ski, DJ Doc B, DJ Gary O and world renowned pros like Kid Capri, Biz Markie and DJ Enuff. 007 started in 1997 playing for local events and high schools. He soon started honing his craft and eventually became a staple on the college circuit at schools like Villanova, Temple, Maryland Eastern Shore, Drexel, Lincoln University and Hampton University to name a few.
Now one of the premier DJ’s in and out of his market, DEEJAY 007 keeps the nightlife rocking at top clubs like ROAR Lounge, Pinnacle Nightclub and Reef Lounge. His hard work, persistence, and talent has led him to perform for some of the industry’s hottest events and for the who’s who in entertainment including the likes of P. Diddy, TAG Records, SO SO Def Records and a number of tour and concerts with notables such as Asher Roth, T-Pain and 50 Cent. These affiliations have led DEEJAY 007 to being named as the Philadelphia Addidas lifestyle store emcee.
As he climbs the ladder of success, DEEJAY 007 realizes the importance of giving back to the community. He is known for mentoring younger disc jockeys in the DE Valley. It has made him a figure anyone can be glad to be associated. He continues to emcee for a variety of non-profit organizations such as the Food Bank of South Jersey, People Motivating Others Inc., and the NAACP’s “Youth and College” Division.
For most disc jockeys, dropping the needle on the records is just an everyday thing but for DEEJAY 007, it’s a way of life. He really is the “The DJ that LOVES his job!”
